This is a hatchet…… not an axe.  I’ve been told that on good authority. Still, whatever it is it makes a great design for this big old china mug. Perfect for a big cup of tea whilst whittling or chopping. 
It doesn’t matter how big and outdoorsy you are, a cuppa always tastes better from china.
