From the ‘Spoon Series’.

This spoon is from my house when I was growing up. My dad was very particular about meals and how we ate as a family, at set times and with the table laid properly. 

Soup was always eaten with a soup spoon. This painting also depicts a starched linen napkin. 

This image is about being the perfect dinner host and doing it properly as I’d done a s a young girl. Old habits don’t ever leave us.
